Another Artwanted friendship :)

I seem to be becoming a celebrity on artwanted.com. i just received a mail that carried yet another snap of my portraits and this time it was in colors :). It will be my second one after I got one from Mrs Claudia Huefner from Germany. This another very special one is made my Mrs Siti Nuriati Husin, Siti is a well know color pencil artist of Malaysian origin but not living in USA. Many of her painting have made it to the top magazines and 3 of her portraits got published in a new book "Diana in Art". those interested can see her artworks at www.ArtWanted.com/sitinuriati
So as always i tried to make her a present and ventured into making a digital portrait for her in Photoshop, i finally managed to finish it in time and she did appreciated it. Well whether its nice or not u can tell me frankly my friends :)

This was submitted as an entry in a logo design contest held on the occasion on 25th anniversary of Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of IIT Kharagpur.
I agree it doesn't looks nice and no wonder it was rejected :D :D :P :P :P :P :P


THis is an ambigram of my name .......... well looks more like a piping network but cant help this Chemical Engineering business has driven me crazy ....... as it is i have a very horrible hand-writing so it also help hiding my disabilities :P :P :P :P

The sketch on your left is not my work, it was actually done by an artist Holly Butt (Canada). I saw it on Deviantart and with her permission i started painting it in Photoshop................... the one on your right is the painted version :)... hope u'll

My best and sincere effort

Indian bride and her friends , this painting is actually inspired from a scene in a hindi movie , Paheli. I found the setting of the scene perfect and also the expression on the face of the ladies were very catching. So i decided to paint this one with all the photoshop skills i have acquired within the past few months. It took me almost a month and a week to finish this one ( thanks to the packed schedule with the classes :( ) but i am happy i was able to complete it before the endsems . Hope u'll all like my last creation of this semester .

This is not my creation friends i got it as gift from a German artist friend Claudia Hufner, she gave this to me as a token of friendship and called it a gift to India :)

Its done in etching technique and soon am gonna receive a hard copy of it at my postal address ,...... yippeeee

Now since she did such a great job it was my turn to pay back , though i seriously doubt my skills but still i thought i should give it a try . This is her portrait that i made. I was not satisfied with the end product but still i sent it to her, and as all good people would have, she liked it .
